Form: Area Sections
Use the Advanced > Assign > Areas > Sections command to assign previously defined area sections to selected area objects.
Select one or more area objects to be assigned area properties.
Click the Advanced > Assign > Areas > Sections command to access the Area Sections form. The Area Sections form also can be accessed by clicking the + (plus) symbol beside a drop-down list of area sections, such as can be found on the {Template} forms used to start a model.
Select a previously defined area section from the Sections list. Alternatively, use the buttons on the form to add, modify, or delete a section definition before selecting a section for assignment. A description of how to use those buttons is provided in the Define - Area Sections topic.
Click the OK button.
The assignments will be shown on the selected members on the main screen. Use the Advanced > Assign > More > Clear Display of Assigns command to remove the display of assignments from the model.
