Form: Assign Automatic Frame Mesh
Use the Advanced > Assign > Frames > Automatic Frame Mesh command to activate the Assign Automatic Frame Mesh form. Be sure to select a straight or curved frame object or this command will not be available. Choose the appropriate option:
No Auto Meshing – Tags the frame object to not be automatically meshed by CSiBridge into the analysis model, thereby treating the object as a structural object.
Auto Mesh Frame - Tags the frame object to be automatically meshed by CSiBridge into the analysis model based on one of the following options. Check the appropriate check box or boxes.
at Intermediate Joints – Tags the selected frame object to be meshed by CSiBridge at intermediate joints.
at Intersection with Other Frames – Tags the selected frame object to be meshed by CSiBridge at intersections with other frames.
Minimum Number of Segments – Tags the selected frame object to be meshed by CSiBridge into the minimum number of segments specified by the user in the associated edit box.
Maximum Length of Segment – Tags the selected frame object to be meshed by CSiBridge into the maximum segment lengths specified by the user in the associated edit box.
Maximum Subtended Degrees (for Curved Members) – Tags a selected curved frame object to be meshed by CSiBridge at the maximum subtended degrees specified by the user in the associated edit box.
