Form: Auto Wave Load Overwrites for Line Objects
Use the Advanced > Assign Loads > Frames > Auto Wave Loading Parameters command to access the Auto Wave Load Overwrites for Line Objects form and specify overwrites for offshore wave load analyses.
Wave load overwrites are basic properties that apply only to the frame objects to which they are specifically assigned. Default values are provided for all wave load overwrite items. Thus, specifying overwrites it is not required. However, at least review the default values for the overwrite items and change them if necessary to make sure they are acceptable.
Change an overwrite as follows:
Select the frame object(s) to be specified overwrites.
Click the Advanced > Assign Loads > Frames > Auto Wave Loading Parameters command to access the Auto Wave Load Overwrites for Line Objects form. The wave load overwrites are displayed with an Item column and a Value column. The Item Description area displays a short description of any item selected in the Item/Value columns. The description is provided to help you recall the purpose of the overwrite item.
Left click in the Value column to activate a drop-down list or to highlight the contents of the cell.
If the drop-down list appears, select a value from the list. Values in the drop-down lists cannot be changed.
If the cell contents becomes highlighted, type in the desired value.
Click the OK button to close the form. The program then applies all of the changed overwrite items.
Set to Prog. Determined (Default) Values and All Items and Selected Items buttons. Click the All Items button at any time to reset all items to the program defaults. Click in the edit box or drop-down list in the Value column to select the item and then click the Selected Item button to restore that item to the program default.
Reset to Previous Values and All Items and Selected Items buttons. Click the All Items button at any time to reset all items to the previously specified values. Click in the edit box or drop-down list in the Value column to select the item and then click the Selected Item button to restore that item to the previously specified value.
Explanation of Color Coding Values area of the form. This area of the form provides an explanation of the colors used to help track the changes made to the form.
