Use the Frame Hinge Property Data for {Property Name} - Fiber P-M2-M3 form to define frame hinge properties based on fibers. The form has the following options:
Fiber Definition Options
Default from Section option. Choose this option to have CSiBridge use fiber definition data based on the section to which the hinge property definition is assigned.
User Defined option. Choose this option to enable the Define/Show Fibers button that can be used to display the Define Fibers for Hinge {Property Name} form, which can be used to define or modify the fiber definition data.
Hinge Length edit box and Relative Length check box. Use the default or specify a different value for hinge length in the Hinge Length edit box. The hinge length may be input as an absolute length or a relative length. Check the Relative Length check box to input the hinge length as a relative length. Relative length is a fraction from zero to one of the clear length of the element, i.e., the length of the element minus the length of any end offsets.
Define/Show Fibers button. Click this button to display the Define Fibers for Hinge {Property Name} form. Use that form to define, review, or modify fiber definition data.
