Set Select Mode

CSiBridge has two modes of mouse-cursor operation in a display window: Draw mode and Select mode. The program can be in one mode at a time only. After a new model has been started, by default, the program is in Select mode. The mouse cursor is used to select objects before performing certain editing, assignment, display, and output operations. When the model is locked, the program is always in Select mode.

Use the Advanced > Draw > Set Select Mode command to set the Select mode. The Select mode is also enabled if the Esc key is used while the program is in Draw mode.

The various commands on the Select menu can be used to specify selection criteria.

To exit Select mode, use any of the button or commands described in the Draw Mode topic of this Help.
