The data in the spreadsheet is not editable, but the display area at the top of the form will update with the changes made on the Define Bridge Section Data - {Template} form.
Bridge Section Name display box. This is the section name in the Bridge Section Name cell on the Define Bridge Section Data {Template} forms (see Select Bridge Deck Section Type form for a list of the forms), and it is not editable on this form.
Units drop-down list. Use the displayed units or select new units from the drop-down list.
Bridge Section display area. This area displays the cross-section of the deck section in accordance with the data provided on the Define Bridge Section Data {Template} forms. Double clicking on the cross-section will show an enlarged version of it (i.e., the Bridge Section Display form), allowing better viewing of any labeling and coordinate display. The viewing options on the Bridge Section Display form are identical to those on the Bridge Section Points for {Bridge Section Name} form.
Note: When the mouse pointer is moved over the drawing, the point labeled Ref Pt is the Reference Point for the structure and is a key location for developing the model structure. The Reference Line extends through this point the entire length of the bridge section.
Mouse Coordinates
X Coordinate and Y Coordinate display boxes. Move the mouse pointer over the cross-section in the Bridge Section display area and the coordinates of the mouse pointer will appear in these display boxes.
Options. These options can be used in combination.
Show Dots At Points check box. Check this check box to illustrate the points/joints of the specified bridge section using dots on the Bridge Section display area.
Display Point Labels check box. Check this check box to turn on the display of point labels on the Bridge Section display area.
Disable Corner Point Snap check box. By default, when the cursor is moved over the drawing in the Bridge Section display area, it snaps to the points that define the objects that comprise the bridge model; a small pop-up box displays the X and Y coordinates for the point, the type and ID of the object to which the point belongs and the ID of the point as it relates to the object. Checking this check box will turn off the point snap feature and allow the cursor to display the coordinates of any location on the drawing (and eliminate the display of the pop-up boxes).
Show Section Properties button. Click this button to display the Properties form.
Section Points spreadsheet area. The spreadsheet is for display purposes only; the data is not editable.
