Parametric Variations - Quick Start Form

Use the Parametric Variations - Quick Start  form to specify a parametric variation using template alignments.

Access the Parametric Variations - Quick Start form as follows:

Method 1

  1. Click the Components > Superstructure Item > Parametric Variations > Expand arrow command, or on the Bridge Wizard highlight the Parametric Variations item and click the Define/Show Variation button, to display the Define Parametric Variations form.

    • Alternatively, bypass the Define Parametric Variations form by clicking the Components > Superstructure Item > Parametric Variations > New command and display the Variation Definition form identified in the following item.

  1. Click the Add New Variation button, or highlight an existing parametric definition and click the Add Copy of Variation or Modify/Show Variation button, to display the Variation Definition form.

  2. Click the Quick Start button on the right side of the form to display the  Parametric Variations - Quick Start form.

 

Method 2

  1. Click the Bridge> Bridge Objects > Expand arrow command, or on the Bridge Wizard select the Bridge Object Definition item and click the Define/Show Bridge Objects button, to display the Define Bridge Objects form. At least a layout line and a bridge deck section must be defined for this command to be available.

  2. Click the Add New Bridge Object button or highlight a previously defined bridge object in the Bridge Objects area of the form and click the Add Copy of Bridge Object or Modify/Show Bridge Object button to display the Bridge Object Data form.

  3. Highlight the Spans item in the Modify/Show Assignments list and click the Modify/Show button to display the Bridge Object Span Definition form.

  4. In the spreadsheet area, highlight the variation to be reviewed/changed and click the Modify/Show Section Variation Along Selected Span button to display the Bridge Section Variation Definition form.

  5. Click the Define/Show Variations button to display the Define Parametric Variations form.

  6. Click the Add New Variation button or highlight a previously defined variation definition and click the Add Copy of Variation or Modify/Show Variation button to display the Variation Definition form.

  7. Click the Quick Start button on the right side of the form to display the  Parametric Variations - Quick Start form.
