This form displays a table with the vehicle location data for a selected moving load case and response component (force, moment, or stress) at a particular section cut within a bridge object. The data in the table is not editable. The moving load case, response component, section cut, and envelope type (maximum and/or minimum) are chosen in the Bridge Object Response Display form.
For each response value (maximum or minimum), data is provided for each lane that contains a vehicle that contributed to the response. Lanes that were not included in the definition of the moving load case or that were not loaded by any vehicle for this particular response component are not listed.
Layout Line Distance display box. This is the distance to the section cut measured from the beginning of the bridge object along the layout line.
Girder Distance display box. This is the distance to the section cut measured from the beginning of the span along the specified girder. This only applies to response components for individual girders, not for the entire bridge section.
Span Name display box. The span containing the section cut.
Location display box. The location at the specified section cut. This can be Before or After.
Units drop-down list. Use the displayed units or select new units from the drop-down list.
Data table. One row of data is provided for each lane containing a vehicle that contributed to the response component, with the following data:
Value Type. This can be Max and/or Min depending on the specified envelope type selected in the Bridge Object Response Display form.
Response. The maximum or minimum value of the response component at the selected section cut.
Lane. The name of a loaded lane.
Vehicle. The name of the vehicle acting in the lane.
Direction. The vehicle direction, which can be Forward or Backward. Forward indicates that the front of the vehicle is upstation from the rear of the vehicle.
Front Location. The distance from the beginning of the lane to the first axle of the vehicle, whether or not the axle load is non-zero. This excludes the leading space, whether of fixed or infinite length. Not that the beginning of the lane may or may not correspond to the beginning of the bridge object or any span. The location may be less than zero or greater than the length of the lane if the front of the vehicle was beyond the ends of the lane.
Rear Location. The distance from the beginning of the lane to the last axle of the vehicle, whether or not the axle load is non-zero. This includes the last space if it is finite but excludes an infinite trailing length. The rear location will be smaller for a vehicle moving forward, and larger for a vehicle moving backward. The location may be less than zero or greater than the length of the lane if the rear of the vehicle was beyond the ends of the lane.
Variable Space. If the vehicle contains a variable-axle spacing, the length of spacing will be shown, and will range between the minimum and maximum specified values. If the specified maximum was infinite, the reported value will always be finite but may be greater than the length of the lane. Zero will be reported for vehicles that have no variable axle spacing.
