Bridge Layout Line from General Reference Line Form

Use the options on the Bridge Layout Line from General Reference Line form to select the general reference line and specify the beginning of the bridge layout line and any x, y, or z offset of the layout line from the general reference line.

Click the OK button to display the Bridge Layout Line Data form; use the form to review, revise and complete the definition of the bridge layout line, including providing a name for the layout line.

Access the Bridge Layout Line from General Reference Line form as follows:

  1. Use the Advanced > Draw > More >  Draw/Edit General Reference Line command to draw a general reference line.

  2. Click the Layout > Layout Lines > Expand arrow command, or on the Bridge Wizard highlight the Layout Line item and click the Define/Show Layout Lines button, to display the Define Bridge Layout Line form.

  3. Click the Add New From Gen Ref Line button to display the Bridge Layout Line from General Reference Line form.

Note:  Multiple layout lines can be defined based on a general reference line or lines, if desired, by repeating steps 2 and 3 above. Highlighting the name of a layout line definition based on a general reference line on the Define Bridge Layout Line form and clicking the Add Copy of Layout Line or the Modify/Show Layout Line button will display the Bridge Layout Line Data form for that layout line, not the Bridge Layout Line from General Reference Line form.
