Form: Bridge Layout Preferences
Click the Layout > Preferences command or the Set Preferences button on the Define Bridge Layout Line form to display the Bridge Layout Preferences form. Use the form to specify the orientation of the layout line (and thus the bridge model) and the smoothness of any curves in the layout.
Angle in Degrees edit box. Use the default or enter another value to specify the orientation of the North arrow relative to the X axis of the global coordinate system. The angle is measured counterclockwise from the positive global X axis to the North direction.
Maximum Subtended Angle in Degrees edit box. Use the default or enter another value to specify the discretization of any curves used in designing the bridge. The smaller the value the smoother the curve.
Bridge Load Stationing options. Choose Perpendicular to Layout Line or Aligned with Section Cuts for controlling the longitudinal positioning of bridge loading, including point, line, and area loads. The longitudinal load location is specified using stations along the layout line, translated to the left and right edge of the bridge section. When choosing Aligned with Section Cuts, for stations between sections cuts, the alignment is interpolated between the two nearest section cuts.
