The Report Viewer displays by clicking Reports tab > Project Report on the Model Explorer or the File menu > Create Report > Show Project Report command. The appearance of the window is similar to other windows, with an identifying "Report Viewer" tab along the top. Similar to the other windows, a drop-down arrow in the upper far right corner of the window (not the tab) displays a drop-down list that identifies any windows being displayed by ETABS and includes a "+Add New Window" option to add another window to those already showing.
The buttons below the Report Viewer tab can be used to move to the first page of the report, the previous page, the next page, and the last page of the report, respectively.
To the right of those buttons, the page being displayed and the number of pages in the report are shown in a drop-down list. Click the drop-down list to select a specific page for display.
To the right of the drop-down list, the "Zoom" area has a drop-down arrow that, when clicked, reveals a drop-down list that can be used to select the size in percentage of the report display (e.g., 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%, 150% and so on). Next to that drop-down list are icons, that when clicked, will send the displayed report to the available printer, export the report in a Word-compatible format to a user-specified filename and location, and regenerate the report, respectively.
Similar to other windows, to close the Report Viewer, click the "x" in the right corner of the Report Viewer tab (not the window).
Note: To add data to the cover page of the report, click the Model tab > Project and double click Project Information or the File menu > Project Information command to access the Project Information form. The items shown with asterisks (*) will be used on the report cover.
