Use the options on the Table Options form to tailor the information provided when data tables are displayed along the bottom of the ETABS window.
Options
Check a check box to select that option. For example, when the Show Selection Only check box is checked, data for items selected before the command is used will be displayed along the bottom of the ETABS window when the OK button is clicked.
The program offers more than 500 data tables. Enabling the Show Only if Used in Model option ensures that extraneous data columns ore not included in the display.
The Show Numbers Unformatted option mean that the program will disregard the formatting specified using the Display Units form.
The Show All Fields option shows all fields associated with the selected data type, even if the fields are not filled. This option is useful when the data table can be edited.
Load Patterns, Load Cases, Load Combinations, Groups display areas. Select the items for which data tables are to be displayed, by clicking on them in the appropriate display box.
Multi-Step Output options. If the data output involves multi-step analysis, choose to display the data tables using Envelopes or Step-by-Step, or show only data for the Last Step. When the Combine Case and Step Fields check box is checked, the program combines the Load Case/Load Combination identifier in the same column as the Step data. This check box is checked by default. Uncheck it to separate the items into two columns.
Modes. When the All Modes check box is checked, data tables for all modes will be displayed. Choose to display data tables for a specific range by unchecking the All Modes check box and entering values in the edit boxes.
Data tables are displayed by clicking the Display menu > Show Tables command or by right clicking a subnode on the Tables tab of the Model Explorer and selecting the Show Tables command.
Access the Table Options form as follows:
From Model Explorer:
Click the Tables tab on the Model Explorer.
Right click the Tables node.
Select Modify Table Options.
From the Show Tables form:
Click the Display menu > Show Tables command.
Right click the Tables node on the Show Tables form.
Select Modify Options.
