When making assignments to joints, frames, or shells, the following No selected objects form may display if the form has the buttons.
This occurs in the following situations:
An assignment(s) is made and both the OK and Apply buttons are clicked. After joints, frames, or shells have been selected and an assignment(s) has been made by clicking the Apply button, the Close button should be clicked to close the Assignment form, rather than the OK button, to prevent the No selected items form from displaying. Thus, if only one assignment is made to only one set of selected objects, the OK button can be used in place of the Apply and Close buttons to both apply the assignment and to close the form.
Nothing has been selected. If nothing is selected before an applicable Assign menu command is used, the form will display when the OK or Apply button is clicked on the Assignment form.
