Wall Auto Select List Data Form

Additional form: Auto Select Start Property

Use the Wall Auto Select List Data form to create an auto select list that the program can use to select the thinnest wall property for analysis that satisfies both  the lateral drift requirements and strength checks.

1. Check that a wall object is included in the model or add a wall to the model.

2. Click the Define menu > Section Properties > Wall Sections command to display the Wall Properties form.

3. Then do one of the following to display the Wall Property Data form:

• • Click the Add New Property button.

  • Highlight an existing wall definition and click the Add Copy of Property button or the Modify/Show Property button.

4. In the Property Type drop-down list, select the Auto Select List  option.

5. Click the Modify/Show Auto Select List button.

6. Highlight the wall property definitions in the Available Properties list to be added to the Auto Select List and click the Add button. The Remove button can be used to eliminate wall property definitions from the  Auto Select List.

7. The program will begin the process of selecting the most appropriate wall property definition using the parameter shown in the Starting Property display box. This parameter can be changed by clicking the Modify button, which displays the Auto Select Start Property form. Select a new starting point for the program to use by highlighting it in the Select display list. Click the OK button to close the form and return to the Wall Auto Select List Data form.
