Display Design Info

Form:  Display Design Results

Review some of the results of the {Steel Frame, Concrete Frame, Composite Column, Shear Wall, Steel Connections} design directly on the ETABS model (i.e., on screen) using the Design menu > {Steel Frame, Concrete Frame, Composite Column,  Steel Connections} Design > Display Design Info command.

Display design information on screen as follows:

  1. Run an analysis.

  2. Perform at least one design using the Design menu >  {Steel Frame, Concrete Frame, Composite Column,  Steel Connections} Design > Start Design/Check command.

  3. Select the Design menu > {Steel Frame, Concrete Frame, Composite Column,  Steel Connections} Design > Display Design Info command to access the Display Design Results form.

  4. Select the Input or Output option and select from the drop-down list the type of information to be displayed on screen.

  5. Use the Assign menu > Clear Display of Assigns command to remove the on-screen display of design information.

Composite Column

Design section, design type, longitudinal reinforcing

Shear Wall

 Reinforcing requirements, capacity ratios and boundary element requirements, pier and spandrel longitudinal reinforcing, pier reinforcing rations, pier D/C. rations, pier and spandrel shear reinforcing, pier edge/boundary zone widths, spandrel diagonal shear reinforcing, P-M failure, shear failure, all failures

Steel Connections

D/C ratio, connection type, plate thickness, plate length, weld size, bolt type, number of bolts
