During the course of using the program, the user may modify program defaults. These "user default settings" can be saved by clicking the Options menu > Save User Default Settings command. The program checks the user settings folder for the presence of any "default.*" files. If present, those files are deleted, and the active model file is saved as the "Default.EBD" file. No other associated files are saved.
The command becomes effective immediately; no form will display. A message indicating that the command successfully saved the setting will display.
When a new model is started and the Use Saved User Default Settings option on the Model Initialization form is selected, the program first tries to open the "default. edb" from the user folder. If none is found, the program will open the default.edb file from the application folder.
To restore program defaults for use in future model files, click the Options menu > Reset User Default Settings command.
