WlmAdmin - Administer License Management Activities

WlmAdmin performs a variety of administrative functions. It provides information on licensing activities and includes information on license servers detected, monitors license server transactions, details on active licenses, and information on licensed users. It also calls other Sentinel RMS Development Kit utilities such as the reservation file editor, the redundant license server pool editor, and the license server shutdown utility.

WlmAdmin can be run on Windows 95/98/ME and Windows NT/2000/2003/XP. It should be run by an administrative user on a stand-alone, client, or license server computer. To run WlmAdmin use Windows Explorer to navigate the location of the WlmAdmin.exe file, and double-click the file to start the program. (The exact location of this file depends on your application vendor.)

The first time you start WlmAdmin, it shows an empty screen, but as soon as you have selected license servers to monitor, WlmAdmin displays information about them. You can also see information about licenses on the license servers and the users who use them. WlmAdmin displays elaborate information which includes Server Information, Feature Information and License and Client Information.
