Form: Wall/Ramp Offset
Use the Assign menu > Wall/Ramp Data > Normal Offset command to assign an offset to a selected wall or ramp object.
Select one or more wall or ramp objects extending above or below the datum plane (not slabs or footings) and click the Assign menu > Wall/Ramp Data > Normal Offset command to access the Wall/Ramp Offset form.
Specify the distance that the selected area objects should move relative to their local 3-axis.
A positive value moves the area object in the positive 3-axis direction; a negative value entered means that the area moves in the negative 3-axis direction. The positive 1-axis is parallel to the line that spans from point 1 to point 2, and the positive 2-axis is orthogonal to the 1-axis and lies in the plane defined by the area’s four corner points. The positive 3-axis follows the right-hand rule.
Note: Points 1 thru 4 may be identified by right clicking on a wall or ramp object and selecting the Geometry tab on the Wall-Type Area Object Information form, or Ramp-Type Area Object Information form, respectively.
