Save
The File menu > Save command saves the active model. If the model previously existed or has been previously saved, clicking the File menu > Save command or its associated toolbar button immediately saves the model in the previously specified location, overwriting any earlier versions of the model.
If the model has just been created and this is the first time it is being saved, the Save Model File As form displays. Use that form to specify a location (directory) and name for the model file.
Save As
Use the File menu > Save As command to save a model file in a new location or with a new name. The Save Model File As form will display; use the form to specify a location (directory) and name for the model file.
Important Note: Use the Options menu > Auto Save Model command to remind you to save your file on a regular basis. We recommend that you make it a habit to save your model file early and often. This helps minimize the loss of work that may result from power failures, computer malfunctions or unforeseen software behavior.
