The View menu > Invert Visibility of Objects command immediately inverts the objects displayed in the active window. Any objects previously displayed in the active window will no longer be visible, and objects previously not displayed will become visible. This command is often used in conjunction with the View menu > Show Selected Objects Only command. If the view type in the window is changed, for example from a plan view to a 3D view, the objects displayed remain the same. This command works with any type of display, including deformed shapes, beam forces, slab design info, and undeformed shapes.
Note: Right clicking anywhere in an active window will display a pop-up menu of commands, including the Invert Visibility of Objects command. Clicking that command is the same as using the View menu > Invert Visibility of Objects command.
