See Time History {Type} Functions topic for details about using the form. The parameters for this type of definition are as follows:
A ramp function is defined by three points (time, function value). Those points, in order, are (0, 0), (Ramp time, Amplitude) and (Maximum time, Amplitude). The ramp time, amplitude and maximum time parameters are described as follows.
Ramp Time edit box. Use the default or specify the time that it takes for the ramp function to initially reach its maximum value. It is usually set to one second.
Amplitude edit box. Use the default or specify the maximum value of the ramp function. It is usually set to 1.
Maximum Time edit box. Use the default or specify the time at the end of the ramp function. This may be any time after the ramp time.
Note: The ramp function maintains its final value even after the maximum time.
