Additional Frequencies

Use the Additional Frequencies form to specify additional frequencies at which the response is to be calculated for a Steady-State or Power-Spectral-Density Load case. Only frequencies between the first and last frequency specified for the load case will actually be used. Additional frequencies outside that range will be ignored.

The use of this option is strongly recommended, even for models without damping.

Access the Additional Frequencies form as follows:

  1. Click the Define menu > Load Cases command to display the Define Load Cases form.

  2. Click the Add New Load Case button or highlight a previously defined analysis case and click the Add Copy of Load Case or the Modify/Show Load Case button to display the Load Case Data form.

  3. Select Steady State or Power Spectral Density from the Analysis Case Type drop-down list to display the Load Case Data - Steady State form or the Load Case Data - Power Spectral Density form .

  4. Click the Set Additional Frequencies button to display the Additional Frequencies form.
