Save Named Display

Form:  Named Displays and Views

Use the Display menu > Save Named Display command to display the Named Displays and Views form. Use the form to save a window view with all of its settings.

1. Use the various options in the program to set up the display of the model in the window.

2. Click the Display menu > Save Named Display command to display the Named Displays and Views form.

3. Use the default or type a new name in the Display edit box to name the display.

4. Click the Add New Named Display button to add the named display to the model file. The Display menu > Show Named Display command subsequently can be used to recall the display settings. Note that if a Named Display is created of a deformed shape (i.e., after an analysis), but then the model is unlocked, the program will be unable to display the Named Display because the results will have been deleted.

   • Change Named Display Name button. Highlight an existing Named Display; type a new name in the Display edit box; and click this button to change the name of the Named Display.

   • Delete Named Display button. Highlight an existing Named Display and click this button to delete a Named Display.
