Use the Frame Plot Function form to specify the parameters for displaying frame force functions.
Specify the frame plot function to be displayed using the various options on the form:
Element ID edit box. Enter the Element ID. A function name will automatically appear in the Plot Function Name text box. This is the name of the plot function for display purposes.
Components. Select the Component (Axial Force, Shear 2, Shear 3, Torsion, Moment 2-2, Moment 3-3).
Location is at Output Station Nearest. Specify the distance from the nearest output station as a Relative or Absolute distance and then enter a value for that distance in the edit box.
Mode Number. Recover the time history for a particular mode as follows:
Select the Include One option.
Enter the mode number directly, or, use the spin button up and down arrows to select from the list.
Note: If the Include All option is the only option available, the load case selected on the Plot Functions form is not a time history load case.
Click the OK button to complete the definition of the frame plot function and return to the Plot Function form.
Define another function, or click the OK button to return to the Plot Function Trace Display Definition form. Refer to the Plot Functions topic for the additional steps required to display the frame plot function.
