Parameters for Base Shear vs Monitored Displ Form

Use the Parameters for Base Shear vs Monitored Displ form to specify the parameters for displaying base shear versus monitored displacement pushover curves.

Pushover Parameters Name edit box. The program will suggest a default name in this edit box. Use the suggested name or type a new name in the box.
Base Shear vs Monitored Displacement Curve Color box. The color shown in this box will be used to display the curve. Click on the color to display the Color form and select a new color if desired.
Reset Default Color button. Click this button to reset the display color for the curve to the program default.
Units drop-down list. Use the units shown in this drop-down list or select other units from the list. These units will be used when the curve is displayed.
Set Axis Data button. Click this button to access the Overrride Axis Labels and Range form. Use the options on that form to change the minimum and maximum horizontal and vertical ranges and the axis labels for the curve.

Method 1- This method can be used to specify parameters for displaying a pushover curve before a static nonlinear analysis has been run.

Click the Define menu > Pushover Parameter Sets > Force vs Displacement command to display the Define Pushover Parameters for Base Shear vs Displ form.
Click the Add New Parameters button, or select an existing parameter set definition and click the Add Copy of Parameters or Modify/Show Parameters button.

Method 2 - Use this method to display a pushover curve after an analysis has been run.

Define a nonlinear static analysis case whose Load Application type is Displacement Control and whose Results Saved type is Multiple States; run an analysis.
Click the Display menu > Show Static Pushover Curve command to display the Pushover Curve form.
Select the Resultant Base Shear vs Monitored Displacement option from the Plot Type drop-down list.
Click the Add New Parameters, Add Copy of Parameters, or Modify/Show Parameters buttons.

Method 3 - Use this method to save the parameters specified for displaying a pushover curve as a Named Set for reuse in the future.

Define a nonlinear static analysis case whose Load Application type is Displacement Control and whose Results Saved type is Multiple States; run an analysis.
Click the Define menu > Named Sets > Pushover Named Sets command to display the Define Pushover Named Sets form.
Click the Add New Named Set button, or highlight a previously defined Named Set and click the Add Copy of Named Set or Modify/Show Named Set button, to display the Pushover Named Set Data form.
Select the ATC-40 Capacity Spectrum option from the Plot Type drop-down list.
Click the Add New Parameters, Add Copy of Parameters, or Modify/Show Parameters buttons.
