Step-by-Step Pushover Forces

Review the pushover forces on a step-by-step basis as follows

1. Click the Display menu > Show Forces/Stresses > Frame/Cable/Tendon command to access the Member Force Diagrams for Frames form.

2. Select a pushover case (i.e., static nonlinear) from the Case/Combo Name drop-down list.

3. Select a force component to be displayed from the Component area of the form.

4. Check the Fill Diagram or the Show Values on Diagram check box and click the OK button.

5. Click the arrow keys in the status bar at the bottom of the SAP2000 window to step through the sequence of member forces.
