Colors

Form:  Assign Colors

Use the Options menu > Colors > Display command to specify colors used by the program for on-screen display; use the Options menu > Colors > Output command to specify colors for printing to a color or monochrome printer.

1. Click the Options menu > Colors > Display or the Options menu > Colors > Output command to display the Assign Colors form with a Display and Output tab.

• • Use the options on the Display tab to set colors for viewing the structural configuration, including joints, frames, shells, grids and the background.

  • Use the options on the Output tab to set the colors for the analysis and design results.

2. On either tab, choose to set the colors for the screen and the printer.

• • Select screen or printer.

  • Change the colors by clicking the appropriate button under the Display tab or by double clicking on the appropriate color under the Output tab.

  • Select a new color and click the OK button.

3. Click the Reset button to restore the SAP2000 defaults.

4. Click the OK button.

Note: The Default printer colors are set for a monochrome printer. Manually select the colors to print in color using a color printer.
