Set Calculator Memory

Form:  Set Calculator Memory

SAP2000 offers a Calculator feature to assist with mathematic operations in forms that accept generic entry. That is, various commands access forms where values are added using edit boxes. The Calculator form can be used to calculate the values to be entered.

One of the Calculator options is a Memory function. This function allows a value or formula to be specified that can be recalled during calculation of a result for subsequent use in a form edit box.

Set Calculator Memory as follows:

  1. Click the Options menu > Set Calculator Memory command.

  2. Type a value or formula into the edit box.

  3. Click the OK button.

Store two different memory items using the Memory 1 (m1) and Memory 2 (m2) edit boxes. See Calculator for more information about the calculator feature, including how to apply the value(s) or formula(s) stored using the Options menu > Set Calculator Memory command.
