Bridge Section Variation Is Defined By. Choose the appropriate option for defining the variation:

When the User Definition option is chosen, the User Defined Variation For {Deck Section Template} display area lists the type of variation, if any, applied to each of the parameters comprising the section property definition. Click in a cell in the Variation column to display a drop-down list of previously defined parametric variations; select from the drop-down list to change the specified variation. As necessary, click the Define/Show Variations button to display the Define Parametric Variations form and add, modify, or delete a parametric variation definition for the specified span.
Reference to Another Span option and drop-down list. Choose to define the variation based on another span definition by selecting that span label from the drop-down list.
When the Reference to Another Span option is selected, the User Defined Variation For {Deck Section Template} display area does not apply and therefore is blank.

User Defined Variation For {Bridge Section Type Name}. Choose one of the following options for applying parametric variations:
Distance Measured from Start of Span -- the distance "0" in the parametric variation represents the beginning of the Span.
Distance Measured from Start Abutment - the distance "0" in the parametric variation represents the beginning of the Bridge Object.
For the bridge with skewed supports, option 2 is recommended.
