Form: Define Bridge Layout Line, Bridge Layout Preferences
Use the Layout > Layout Line > Expand arrow command, or on the Bridge Wizard click the Layout Line item and the Define/Show Layout Lines button, to display the Define Bridge Layout Line form and add, modify, or delete layout line definitions. The form also has a button to allow preferences to be set for orienting the definition to the global coordinate system.
Layout Lines display area. This area displays the names of the defined layout lines.
Add New Line button. Click this button to display the Bridge Layout Line Data form and add a new layout definition to the bridge model.
Add New from Gen Ref Line button. This button is available if a General Reference Line has been drawn in the model and that reference line complies with the horizontal and vertical alignment restrictions of a layout line. Click this button to display the Bridge Layout Line From General Reference Line form. Use the form to define the layout line relative to the General Reference Line.
Add Copy of Line button. Use this button to quickly add layout lines to the bridge model based on previously defined layout lines.
Highlight the name of a previously defined layout line in the Layout Lines display area.
Click the Add Copy of Line button to display the Bridge Layout Line Data form with the parameters on the form already set as specified for the layout line being copied.
Use the options on the form to make the appropriate modifications.
Modify/Show Line button.
Highlight the name of a previously defined layout line in the Layout Lines display area.
Click the Modify/Show Line button to display the Bridge Layout Line Data form.
Use the options on the form to make the appropriate modifications.
Delete Line button.
Highlight the name of a previously defined layout line in the Layout Lines display area.
Click the Delete Line button to delete the definition.
Set Preferences button. Click this button to display the Bridge Layout Preferences form.
Angle in Degrees edit box. Use the default or enter another value to specify the orientation of the North arrow relative to the X axis of the global coordinate system. The angle is measured counter clockwise from the positive global X axis to the North direction.
Maximum Subtended Angle in Degrees edit box. Use the default or enter another value to specify the discretization of any curves used in designing the bridge. The smaller the value the smoother the curve.
