Use the Assign Prestress Tendons form to add, modify, or delete prestress tendon assignments; show all tendons; and copy a selected tendon assignment to all girders in the bridge model.
Bridge Object Name display box. This name identifies which bridge object/structure to which the prestress tendon definition applies.
Add New Tendon button. Click this button to display the Bridge Tendon Data form; use the form to add a new definition.
Add Copy of Tendon button
Highlight the name of a previously defined tendon in the Tendon display area.
Click the Add Copy of Tendon button to display the Bridge Tendon Data form. The options on the form will be pre-selected in accordance with the definition of the highlighted tendon.
Use the form to make any necessary changes to the tendon definition.
Modify/Show Tendon button
Highlight the name of a previously defined tendon in the Tendon display area.
Click the Modify/Show Tendon button to display the Bridge Tendon Data form.
Use the form to make the necessary changes to the tendon definition.
Delete Tendon button.
Highlight the name of a previously defined tendon in the Tendon display area.
Click the Delete Tendon button to delete the selected tendon.
Copy to All Girders button.
Highlight the name of a previously defined tendon in the Tendon display area.
Click the Copy to All Girders button and the program will copy the selected tendon definition to all girders in the model. Note that the original tendon definition will be deleted and replaced with the number of definitions needed to match the number of girders defined for the model. As noted on the form, the slopes of the copied tendons match the girder slopes.
Show All Tendons button. Click this button to display the Bridge Tendon Layout Display form. Use the form to review the tendon layout. This button can be used in conjunction with the Copy to All Girders button to review the placement of the tendons on all of the girders.
