Click the Layout > Lanes > Expand arrow command to display the Define Lanes form. Use the buttons on that form to define bridge lanes using layout lines or frame objects. Alternatively, click the Home > Bridge Wizard command; highlight the Lanes item; click the Define/Show Lanes button to display the Define Lanes form.
Add New Lane Defined From Layout Line button. Click this button to display the Bridge Lane Data form and define lanes based on bridge layout lines.
Add New Lane Defined From Frames button. This button is available if at least one straight frame object has been drawn in the model. Click this button to display the Lane Data form and specify a new lane definition. After lanes have been defined using the Lane Data form (but not the Bridge Lane Data form), use the Advanced > Assign Loads > Assign > Frame > Lane command to assign frame objects to the defined lane.
Add Copy of Lane button. Highlight the lane to be copied in the Lanes display area. Then, click the Add Copy of Lane button. This will display the Move Lane form. Use that form to locate the new lane that is being added by copying the selected lane. Click the OK button to display the Lane Data form or Bridge Lane Data form, depending on the lane highlighted. Use those forms to specify the layout line, station, offset and width of the new lane.
Modify/Show Lane button. Highlight a previously defined lane definition to display the Lane Data form or the Bridge Lane Data form depending on the lane highlighted. Use the form to make the necessary revisions.
Convert Lane Definition to 'From Layout Line' button. This button is available if the Bridge Modeler license has been enabled and a lane has been defined from frames. Highlight a lane definition based on frames and then click the Convert Lane Definition to 'From Layout Line' button to change the definition to be based on layout lines.
Delete Lane button. Highlight a previously defined lane definition and click the Delete Lane button to delete the selected lane definition.
