Vehicle classes are sets of one or more vehicles that can be assigned to act on lanes in a moving-load case. Only one vehicle in a class acts on the lane at a time. Results are reported for the vehicle causing the most severe response. Click the Loads > Vehicle Type > Vehicle Classes > New command to display the Vehicle Class Data form.
Vehicle Class Name edit box. Enter a Vehicle Class Name or accept the default name.
Vehicle Name drop-down list. Select a Vehicle Name from the drop down list. The names listed were defined using the Loads > Vehicle Type > Vehicle > expand > Add Vehicle command or by selecting Vehicles and clicking the Define/Show Vehicle button on the Bridge Wizard.
Scale Factor edit box. Specify a Scale Factor for the selected vehicle.
Add button.
Click the Add button after the Vehicle Class Name, Vehicle Name and Scale Factors have been specified.
Click the OK button to add the new Vehicle Class to the Classes list on the Define Vehicle Classes form.
Modify button.
Highlight the items to be modified in the Vehicle Name/Scale Factor display lists.
As appropriate, select a new Vehicle Name or type revised data in the Scale Factor edit box.
Click the Modify button.
Delete button.
Highlight the item to be deleted in the Vehicle Name/Scale Factor display lists.
Click the Delete button.
