Click the Orb > Settings > Database Table Utilities and Settings command to display the Database Table Utilities and Settings form. That form has a number of buttons that can be used to access individual forms for managing the program database.
Set Current Format File Source button. Click this button to display the Set Database Table Formats File form and alter the database table format.
Edit Format File button. Click this button to display the Database Table Formats File form and make changes to the tables to be included in a format file.
Set Current Table Name Source button. Click this button to display the Set Table Name Source form and change the database table names.
Write Default Tables Names to XML button. Click this button to display the Choose Tables To Be Included in XML File form. Use the form to specify the tables to be included in the XML file. The XML file is used when generating reports using the Reports Contents File of Report Setup. After the tables to be used have been selected and the OK button is clicked on the Choose Tables To Be Included in XML File form, the Save XML File As form will display. Use that form to specify the file name and path for savings the xml file.
Documentation to Word button. Use this command to access the Database Documentation to Word form and create a file(s) in Microsoft Word format that identifies the types of data in the database, including a brief descriptions of the function of the data, the units, the format and the like.
Auto Regenerate Hinges After Import check box. When the Auto Regenerate Hinges After Import check box on the Database Table Utilities and Settings form is checked, the program will automatically regenerate any hinges in the model following the import of data into the model from an external source.
