Use the Add Story -- Keep Existing Story Heights form to specify the number of stories of a specified height to be added to the model at a selected location.
This form can be used to add multiple stories of the same height to the model.
The added story is inserted above the specified story.
If the From Existing Story option is chosen for Replicate New Story, objects (i.e., joints, frames, shells) associated with the story selected in the drop-down list will be replicated when the new story is added. Grid lines are not replicated.
TIP: To modify grid spacing for the added stories, use the Grid Data System form to specify the changes.
The Add Story - Keep Existing Story Elevations form can be used to add story data based on specifying the elevation of the top of the to-be-added story instead of the height to-be-added story. This approach adds one story at a time.
