When the Apply button is used, the form will remain open so that another elevation can be selected for display. Click the Close button to close the form. Alternatively, the OK button can be used to both apply the elevation selection and close the form.
When the active window is a plan view, use the Move Up in List button and the Move Down in List button to quickly change to other plan views. The available views are those shown on the Select Plan Level form when the plan view was set initially (e.g., Base, Story 1).
In plan view the following objects are visible, assuming that they are specified as visible in the Set View Options form:
All shell, frame and joint objects that lie in the horizontal plane of the plan view. This horizontal plane occurs at the story level elevation for plan views of story levels and at the reference plane elevation for plan views of reference planes.
All column-type line objects that either have an end joint in the considered plan view or pass through the considered plan view. Note that column-type line objects can not pass through plan views at story levels. They can pass through plan views only at reference plane levels.
All wall-type objects that have corner points in the considered plan view or that pass through the considered plan view. Note that wall-type objects can not pass through plan views at story levels. They can pass through plan views only at reference plane levels.
Note that braces and ramps are never visible in a plan view. Braces are visible in elevation view and in any three-dimensional view, including all perspective views.
