Form: Slab Edge Releases
Use the Assign menu > Slab Data > Edge Releases command to release the edges of the selected area object from shear and/or moment continuity.
Select one or more area objects that lie in the datum plane (not walls or ramps) and click the Assign menu > Slab Data > Edge Releases command to access the Slab Edge Releases form.
Check the Vertical Displacement (Shear) check box or the Rotation About Slab Edge (Moment) check box or both, to release the edges from shear and moment transfer.
All edges of the selected area objects will have the same release conditions. This command does not allow different release conditions to be specified at different edges.
