Form: Slab Rib Location
Use the Assign menu > Slab Data > Rib Locations command to change the location (not the spacing) of the ribs on a selected area object. Typically, waffle and ribbed slabs are laid out such that a rib(s) is centered on the origin of the global coordinate system. This command allows the rib layout to be shifted such that a rib(s) is not centered on the origin.
Select one area object that has a Waffle or Ribbed slab type assignment and click the Assign menu > Slab Data > Rib Locations command to access the Slab Rib Location form.
Enter new Point X and Point Y coordinates into the edit boxes. Ribs will be laid out such that they are centered on this new point.
Rib spacing and size can be verified by expanding the tree under Property Definitions > Slab Properties on the Model tab in the Model Explorer window to access the Slab Property Data form. This command can be used only with Waffle and Ribbed type slabs.
