Additional form:Select Drawings
Use the Export Drawings form to specify the format in which the exported sheet(s) is to be stored, select the drawing sheet(s) to be exported, and the path and filename where the exported file is to be stored.
Export As. Choose the appropriate option for the output.
Drawing Exchange Format (DXF): Selects the dxf text based format readable by many CAD and drafting programs.
AutoCAD 2000+ Drawing Fromat (DWG): Select the specific format used by AutoCAD for drawing information. This option is available only if AutoCAD is installed and available on the computer doing the export.
XML File Format (XML): Selects the widely used text based information exchange format readable by several programs. This option can be used to export and extract information from drawings for post processing.
Drawing Sheets to Export. Choose the sheet to be exported.
Current Sheet. Use this option to export the drawing sheet shown in the active window. If this option is not available, first use the Detailing menu > Show Detailing command and the Display Detailing Item form to display a detailed drawing in the active window.
All Sheets. Use this option to export all of the drawings as detailed for the entire model file.
Selected Sheets. Select this option and then click the Select button to access the Select Drawings form, which lists the various drawing sheets available for printing. Choose which sheets are to be printed by clicking an item. A check mark preceding a sheet name means that sheet will print. Use the Select/Deselect All check box to speed selection.
Target Directory: Type the full path and file name for saving the export, or click the button next to the text box to select a path for saving the file.
Click Start Export to start the export process. The progress will be shown at the bottom of the form. Click the Cancel button to abort the export process at anytime. Click on Done to exit the form.
