Form: Show Loads
Toolbar Button:
Use the Display menu > Show Loads command to access the Show Loads form and display loads in the active window that you have input for the model using the Assign menu (i.e., Point Loads, Point Displacements, Point and Distributed Loads on Lines, Surface Loads, Tendon Loads).
Load Pattern Name: Select a previously defined load pattern from the drop-down list. The loads displayed will be associated with this load pattern.
Load Type: Choose the type of load to be displayed. Note that only one type of load may be displayed at any given time. If a load type is not available, it means that the load type has not been assigned to the model for the chosen load pattern. If post-tensioning is present in the model, select the Tendon Assigned Loads option to display the assigned tendon loads, or select the Tendon Calculated Loads option to display the loads the tendons impart onto the slab. Select the Analysis Model Loads option to display the loads transformed onto the elements of the analysis model.
Show Loading Values: When this check box is checked, numeric loading values are added to the display.
Note: Right click on any object to access an information form that displays, among other things, the loads that have been assigned to that object.
Note: Load displays also can be accessed by expanding the Loads item under Named Displays on the Display tab in the Model Explorer window.
