Form: Frame Properties
Use the Assign menu > Frame > Frame Sections command to assign frame section properties to frame objects. The frame section property can be a previously defined property or it can be defined as part of the assignment process.
The Assign menu > Frame > Frame Sections command can be used to (a) import sections from pre-defined databases, (b) define frame section properties on the basis of their dimensions, (c) review and modify section properties, and (d) delete section properties.
Assign frame sections as follows:
Select the frame objects to which section properties are to be assigned.
Click the Assign menu > Frame > Frame Section command to display the Frame Properties form.
On the Frame Properties form, the Properties area of this form lists the names of all the currently defined frame section properties. Choose a section property to assign to the selected frame objects by clicking on the section to highlight it.
Alternatively use buttons on the form to add sections to the list, modify the sections in the list, or delete sections from the list as necessary before making the assignment. This process is the same as that achieved using the Define menu > Frame Sections command. See that topic for an explanation of how to use the buttons.
