Specify modification factors as part of the definition as follows:
Access the Frame Property/Stiffness Modification Factors form as follows:

Click the Define menu > Frame Sections command, or click on a line object that has been drawn as a frame and click the Assign menu > Frame > Frame Sections command, to access the Frame Properties form.

Select a property type in the Choose Property Type to Add drop-down list and click the Add New Section button, or select a previously defined property in the Properties list and click the Add Copy of Section or Modify/Show Section button, to display the {Type} Section form.

Click the Set Modifiers button.
Access the Cable Property/Stiffness Modification Factors form as follows:

Click the Define menu > Cable Sections command, or click on a line object that has been drawn as a cable and click the Assign menu > Cable > Cable Sections command, to access the Cable Sections form.

Click the Add New Section or select a previously defined cable section definition and click the Add Copy of Section or Modify/Show Section button to display the Cable Section Data form.

Click the Modify/Show Cable Property Modifiers button.
Access the Property/Stiffness Modification Factors form for area sections as follows:

Click the Define menu > Area Sections command, or select an area object(s) and click the Assign menu > Area > Sections command, to display the Area Sections form.

Click the Add New Section or select a previously define area section and click the Add Copy of Section or the Modify/Show Section button to display the Shell Section Data, Plane Section Data or Axisymmetric Solid (Asolid) Section Data form.

Click the Set Modifiers button.
Assign modification factors to frame, cable, or area objects on an object-by-object basis as follows:

Select the object(s) to be assigned modification factors.

Click the Assign menu > Frame > Property Modifiers, Assign menu > Cable > Property Modifiers, or the Assign menu > Area > Area Stiffness Modifiers (Shells) command, depending on the type of object selected.
