Form: Link/Support Properties
Use the Define menu > Section Properties > Link/Support Properties command to access the Link/Support Properties form; use that form to add, modify, or delete a link property. Link properties describe the linear and nonlinear behavior for the link objects to which they are assigned.
TIP: The form described in this topic also can be accessed by clicking the + (plus) symbol that may appear next to a drop-down list of available link properties, such as the Link Property drop-down lists on the Assign Springs Along Line Object form.
Add New Property button. Click the Add New Property button to access the Link/Support Property Data form and define a new link property definition.
Modify/Show Property button.
Select the link property definition to be modified from the list of property definitions in the Properties area of the form.
Click the Modify/Show Property button to access the Link/Support Property Data form and modify the selected section definition.
Delete Property button
Select the property definition to be deleted from the list of property definitions in the Properties area of the form.
Click the Delete Property button to delete the definition.
Each named property that is defined exhibits dual behavior: a set of linear properties for linear analyses, and a set of nonlinear properties for nonlinear analyses.
Example: Use of this command is demonstrated in Problem O and Problem Q.
