Bridge Object Span Assignments Form

Use the Bridge Object Span Definition form to review the deck section and any variations defined for each span of the named bridge object.

Bridge Object Name display box. This is the name assigned using the Bridge Object Name edit box on the Bridge Object Data form.
Span. The labels displayed in this column of the Span Definition spreadsheet area were specified in the Span Label edit box on the Bridge Object Data form.
Section. The names displayed in this column are previously defined deck section properties. Click in the cell to access a drop-down list of those properties and, if necessary, highlight a property name to revise the Section.
Section Varies. If "No" displays in this cell, no variations have been defined for the associated span. If "Yes" displays, a variation(s) has been applied. To review or change the variation, highlight a row in the spreadsheet and click the Modify/Show Section Variation Along Selected Span button to display the Bridge Section Variation Definition form for the selected span.

Access the Bridge Object Span Assignments form as follows:

At a minimum, create a layout line and define a deck section.
Click the Bridge> Bridge Objects > Expand arrow, or on the Bridge Wizard select the Bridge Object Definitions item and click the Define/Show Bridge Object button, to display the Define Bridge Objects form.
- Alternatively, bypass the Define Bridge Objects form by clicking the Bridge > Bridge Objects > New command and go directly to the Bridge Object Data form identified in the next step.
Click the Add New Bridge Object button, or highlight a previously defined bridge object in the Bridge Objects area of the form and click the Add Copy of Bridge Object or Modify/Show Bridge Object button, to display the Bridge Object Data form.
In the Modify/Show Assignments display list, highlight the Spans item and click the Modify/Show button to display the Bridge Object Span Assignments form.
- Alternatively, on the Bridge Wizard select the Deck Sections item in the Bridge Object Assignments area and click the Assign/Show Deck Sections button to access the Bridge Object Span Assignments form.
