Use the Quick Bridge Template form to quickly begin a default Bridge Model by specifying the bridge span(s) and a bridge deck section type.
Span Lengths (Semicolon Separator) edit box. Specify the number of spans in the bridge by specifying the length of each span. If more than one span is being specified, separate the lengths using semicolons. As necessary, use the drop-down list to change the units on this form.
Bridge Deck Section Type drop-down list. Use this drop-down list to select a deck section type. The various section types are listed on the Select Bridge Deck Section Type Form topic.
When the OK button is clicked, a complete Bridge Object is created with the span lengths and deck sections as specified above and with default material properties, frame section properties, lanes, vehicles, vehicle classes, functions, load patterns, and load cases, among other components, also defined. Use the Home > Bridge Wizard command to access the Bridge Wizard, which lists the default definitions used to quickly create the Bridge Model. The default definitions are listed in the Currently Define Items tree on the Bridge Wizard. The default models can be modified using the commands on the Layout, Components, Loads, Bridge, Analysis, Design/Rating, and Advanced tabs.
