Use the Moment Rotation Data for {Property Name} - Interacting {Hinge Type} form to define, review and modify the moment rotation data for an interacting hinge.
Axial Force drop-down list. Choose the axial force from the drop-down list. The available forces were defined on the Axial Force Values for {Property Name} form, which was displayed by clicking the Modify/Show Axial Force Values button on the Frame Hinge Property Data for {Property Name} - Interacting {Hinge Type} form.
Angle drop-down list. Choose the angle from the drop-down list. The available angles were defined on the Angle for {Property Name} form, which was displayed by clicking the Modify/Show Angles button on the Frame Hinge Property Data for {Property Name} - Interacting {Hinge Type} form.
Curve # scroll buttons. If more than one curve has been defined, use these scroll buttons to move from one curve to another.
Units drop-down list. Use this drop-down list to change the units used on the form.
Moment Rotation Data for Selected Curve spreadsheet area. If necessary, click in the cells to revise the moment rotation data.
Copy Curve Data button and Paste Curve Data button. Use these buttons to copy changes made to the data in the spreadsheet area from one curve to another. For example, use the buttons as follows:
With data for Curve 2 displayed, change a value in the Moment/Yield Mom column.
Click the Copy Curve Data button.
Use the Curve # scroll button to "move" to Curve 3.
Click the Paste Curve Data button to paste the data from Curve 2 to Curve 3.
Acceptance Criteria (Plastic Deformation/SF) options. Accept the defaults for these acceptance criteria or type revised values in the edit boxes.
Show Acceptance Points on Current Curve check box. As the name suggests, clicking this check box will display points on the curve graphic for the acceptance criteria.
3D View, Plan, Elevation, and Aperture arrow buttons and 3D, RR, MR3 and MR2 buttons. Use these buttons to adjust the graphical display of the curvature curve on the right side of the form. Angle values can also be typed directly into the Plan, Elevation, and Aperture edit boxes, or use the up/down arrow buttons.
Axial Force arrow buttons. Use these buttons to select/adjust the display of the axial force in the 3D graphical display above the arrow buttons.
Hide Backbone Lines option. Check this check box to hide the backbone lines on the 3D graphical display above the check box.
Show Acceptance Criteria check box. Check this check box to display the acceptance criteria points on the 3D graphical display above the check box.
Show Thickened Lines check box. Check this check box to use thicker lines in the 3D graphical display above the check box.
Highlight Current Curve check box. Check this check box to emphasize the display of the current curve on the 3D graphical display above the check box.
Moment Rotation Information area. The display boxes in this area of the form show the choices made using the Frame Hinge Property Data for {Property Name} - Interacting {Hinge Type} form for Symmetry Condition, Number of Axial Force Values, and Number of Angles. The Total Number of Curves is the number of axial forces times the number of angles.
Angle Is Moment About area. This area of the form explains the angles.
