Form: Point Object Information
Access the Point Object Information form by moving the mouse pointer over the point object and clicking the right mouse button. If more than one object occurs at the same location, hold down the Shift key and then click the right mouse button to display a selection list; select the object from the selection list. If the model is unlocked, changes to point objects can be made using this form.
Point Object Name. Identifies the point. SAFE sequentially numbers points as they are drawn or added to the model, starting from the origin. Point objects (joints) are automatically created at the corners or ends of all other types of objects and also can be added anywhere in the model. Point objects are used to model supports, springs, point loads and point displacements.
Assignments tab - Click in any active edit box to access the associated form where changes can be made.

Group - this assignment cannot be changed here; see Groups for more information
Geometry tab - displays the coordinates of the point, along with a listing of all objects connected to it. If the Point Global X, Y, Z Corrds edit box is right clicked, the Edit Point Coordinates form displays where the coordinates of the points can be modified.
Loads tab - displays all loads and displacements assigned to the point for each load pattern. The Add Point Object Loads form for assigning additional loads.

button resets any changes made to the items on the tabs to the values displayed when the form was first opened.Note: This form can also be accessed by right clicking an item under the Point Objects sub-node of the Objects node on the Model tab in the Model Explorer window.
