Additional Form: Select Drawings to Print
Use the Print Drawings form to select the printer, set the paper size and orientation, and to choose which drawings to print. Drawings will be available to print only if detailing has been run.
Printing Device, Name drop-down list. This drop-down list will show the currently selected printing device, including plotters, if available. Choose the appropriate device for your output.
Paper Size. Use the Size and Source drop-down lists to select the appropriate paper size and source for the paper. Note that the size of the drawing as specified using the Draw Sheet Setup form is shown in the Current Drawing Size area of this form. As necessary, the program will automatically scale the drawing sheet to fit the selected paper size.
Page Orientation. Choose to the print the drawing sheet using Portrait or Landscape orientation, usually to ensure that the setup of the output device is compatible with the setup of the drawing sheet. For Portrait orientation, the height exceeds the width. For Landscape orientation, the width exceeds the height.
Drawings to Print. Use these options to select which drawing sheet or sheets to print.
Current Drawing. Use this option to print the drawing sheet shown in the active window. If this option is not available, first use the Detailing menu > Show Detailing command and the Display Detailing Item form to display a detailed drawing in the active window.
All Drawings. Use this option to print all of the drawings as detailed for the entire model file.
Selected Drawings. Select this option and then click the Select button to access the Select Drawings to Print form, which lists the various drawing sheets available for printing. Choose which sheets are to be printed by clicking an item. A check mark preceding a sheet name means that sheet will print. Use the Select/Deselect All check box to speed selection.
Use the Start Printing button to send the specified drawing(s) to the specified printing device. Click the Cancel button to stop the sending process. Note that clicking the Cancel button may not stop the printing if the output has already reached the buffer of the output device. Click the Done button to close the form.
