Form: Run Detailing Options
Toolbar button:
Use the Run menu > Run Detailing command to execute detailing of the model.
Note: This command is available only if the model previously has been analyzed and designed.
Clicking the Run menu > Run Detailing command will display the Run Detailing Options form.
Basic Detailing Options. Use these check boxes to specify how drawings will be presented, with individual bars in a Plan, in 3D, and with areas merged so that edges and sections are shown smoothly.
Run Detailing Choice options. If detailing previously has been executed, this command will display the Run Detailing Options form. On that form, chose to run new detailing (and generate new drawings) or to synchronize detailing and update the drawings only as needed.
Run New Detailing and Generate Drawings: This option will clear the previous detailing output, including any modifications or editing of the view text or properties, drawings, and so on, and generate new detailing model as well as results.
Synchronize Detailing and Update Drawings: If this option is used, then the program runs the detailing based on the current state of the model geometry and analysis and design result. However, in doing so it attempts to retain as much information from the previous detailing output as possible and synchronize it with the new detailing. The information that is retained or synchronizes depends on the extent of changes made to the current model with respect to the previous detailing output. The program specifically tries to retain the section cut lines, drawing sheets and sheet layout, editing of beam or slab/mat reinforcement, editing of text, change of scale and so on
Note: It is important to check and confirm the detailing output after automatic synchronization has been carried out by the program.
After detailing, the drawings may be viewed by going to the Detailing tab of the Model Explorer window, exported in either DXF or DWG formats (see File menu > Export Drawings command), or printed (see File menu > Print Drawings command).
