Use the Temperature Dependent Material Properties form to designate temperature values at which specified parameters apply.
Material Name, Material Type and Symmetry Type display boxes. These display boxes identify the material name and type, and the directional symmetry for the material property definition as specified using the Material Property Options form.
Add Properties at New Temperature button.
Click this button to access the Material Property Data form.
Enter a temperature value in the Degrees F edit box.
Use the default values or type revised values for the other parameters on the form. Use the buttons on the form as needed to specify nonlinear material data, material damping properties, time dependent properties, and thermal properties (heat transfer).
Click the OK button to return to the Temperature Dependent Material Properties form.
Repeat Steps 1 through 4 as needed, then click the OK button to return to the Material Property Options form.
Add Copy of Properties at Selected Temperature button. Use this button to add another temperature dependent material property.
Highlight an existing material temperature in the Temperatures display list.
Click the Add Copy of Properties at Selected Temperature button to access the Material Property Data form. The form will be pre-loaded with the parameters associated with the temperature selected in Step 1.
Use the Degrees F edit box to specify a temperature for the material property definition.
Revise the other parameters on the form as necessary. Use the buttons on the form as needed to specify nonlinear material data, material damping properties, time dependent properties, and thermal properties (heat transfer).
Click the OK button to return to the Temperature Dependent Material Properties form.
Repeat Steps 1 through 5 as needed, then click the OK button to return to the Material Property Options form.
Modify/Show Properties at Selected Temperature button. Use this button to modify an existing temperature dependent material property without adding another definition.
